FRONT OF CARD
“20.X.04
Hope you are keeping better and will soon be back at school.

the sender
The signature on the reverse is “M”. On the front it looks like “Manny” or “Mary”. Neither matches anyone in the wider family. The reference to school suggests that it is a friend.
the recipient
Adele Jessamine Skrimshire (1889-1975) was the daughter of Henry Truscott Skrimshire (1842-1910) and Rosa Matilda Adams (1856-1937). Henry was a sea captain. Although Adele was born in Liverpool, some of her siblings were born at sea or in India.
Adele was a teacher. In the 1911 census she is an Assistant Mistress. In 1939 she was an Elementary School Teacher. She was also a widow. In 1919 she married Thomas Ecroyd Brooks. Thomas was an insurance clerk in 1911.

what the card says to us
The picture shows Lime Street, Liverpool (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lime_Street,_Liverpool). The card was posted in Liverpool. Tuebrook is a suburb of Liverpool.
Adele was 15 years old when the card was sent. She seems to have been ill and she has missed a History exam. This is a get well soon card.
The date of the front of the card is interesting as a roman numeral has been used for the 10th month.
