“Have you had this before
Love
Nellie”
the sender
It is assumed that the sender, Nellie, is Ellen Annie Eldred (1888-1983). Ellen was the daughter of Walter Eldred (1859-1941) and Harriet Valentine (1859-1913). Walter was a Porter at Covent Garden working for a Potato Salesman. In 1911 Ellen was a Ladies Tailoress working for a Draper. At the time that this card was sent, Ellen was 16 years old.
In 1914, Ellen, aged 26, married Thomas Dixon (1889-1972) the recipient of this card.
the recipient
Thomas Dixon (1889-1972) was the son of Thomas Dixon (1853-?) and Frances Louise Avenell (1853-?). It has proved difficult to identify deaths for Thomas senior and Frances. Thomas senior was from Cumbria. In 1911 he was an Inquiry Agent for a Charity, in 1891 however he was a Litho Stone Preparer.
In 1911 Thomas junior was working as a Law Clerk. In 1939 he is listed as Solicitors Managing Litigation.
In 1914 he married Ellen.

what the card says to us
The picture shows St Paul’s Cathedral in London (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St_Paul%27s_Cathedral). The message refers to the picture suggesting that Thomas Dixon is either a collector of postcards, of postcards showing famous landmarks, or of pictures of St Pauls.
There is nothing else to note beyond the assumption that 10 years later the sender and recipient get married.
