the sender
There are no clues to the identity of Auntie Nellie. Neither is there a clue as to whether she was a native of Tunbridge Wells or just visiting.
the recipient
The name of the recipient of this card is a mystery. Although at first glance the handwriting looks legible, it has not been possible to decipher the surname or the first name. It looks like Screvens or Scrivens or Severens. The first name looks like Lili or Lilie or Lilu. In any event, when looking at the records for Maldon House in Kemptown in Brighton, there were no clues either. Maldon is a name associated with Brighton but there is no record of a "Maldon House" in either the 1901 or 1911 census. Presumably the postman knew what it meant.

what the card says to us
The picture shows High Rocks in Tunbridge Wells which remains a tourist attraction.
This card says little more than reporting that it was raining in Tunbridge Wells on September 3rd 1904. Whoever Auntie Nellie was, her handwriting is not clear and she rather oddly decided to put her name in light part of the foreground in the picture. There was plenty of room fro her message and signature on the back.
