what the card says to us
The card has very little to say except that in 1905 there were some truly awful cards and this is one of them. The picture is hard to describe. It is a collection of baby photos cut out and glued to what looks like the words Best Wishes constructed from tree branches. The whole thing being set against a rural background. it is very disturbing.
The other point of interest is that the card was posted in what is now known as Dun Laoghaire but which was known as Kingstown from 1821 to 1920. For political reasons presumably.
