There are no clues to Laura's identity.

Alice Maud Screvens (1879-1950) was the daughter of George Henry Screvens (1846-1929) and Anne Russell (1842-1919. George was a carpenter. Alice did not marry and in the 1911 census, she and her two siblings, all single and all in their 30s, were living with their parents. Alice did not have a recorded occupation.

what the card says to us
The picture shows St Barnabas church in Bexhill-On-Sea which is where the card was posted.
The only thing that could be inferred from the card is that Alice Screvens might be known to bear a grudge if someone does not send an expected card. But that may be grossly unfair.
There is also a "typo" where Laura has written "has I promised" which should be "as I promised".
And curiously, the card has been dated on the front, and then the date has been amended.
