Jane Elizabeth Donkin nee Amos (1872-1954) was the daughter of Richard Amos (1846-1899) and Margaret Jane Moore (1846-1913). Richard was a farmer in Durham.
In 1891 Jane married George Moore Donkin (1858-1926). George was also a farmer, initially in Durham. By 1901 the Donkin's had moved to Southwick, Northants and by 1911 they were living in Wickhambrook.

what the card says to us
The picture is entitled "Juliet" and is a painting by Angelo Asti (1847-1903). This is one of an "Asti" series of postcards by Raphael Tuck and Sons, all of which are similar.
The sender, Charles, has underlined the name "Juliet" as if this is significant.
The address of "The Gesyns" is interesting as it appears to have some history as a moated farmhouse dating back possibly to the 15th Century.
Otherwise this is a weather report.
Who is Charles? What is he to Jane Donkin?
