There are no clues to the identity of the sender. Although the card is addressed "Dear Sis", this does not refer to sister as Sis, which various alternative spellings, appears to be a name that Isabel Sarah Werrell was commonly known by.

the recipient

Isabel Sarah Werrell (1877-1936) was the daughter of William Werrell (1844-1917) and Elizabeth Rabbetts (1848-1897).

what the card says to us

The picture shows the promenade at Weymouth. There does not appear to be any connection to the message or locations.

The message appears to be about collecting postcards. This makes sense as this is one of a series of cards relating to Isabel Sarah Werrell and her family. She seems to have been an avid collector of cards and maybe this accounts for their survival for over 100 years. How many more are there?
