the message

"Dear Daisy

Hope my little girl has not been much trouble to you. I am feeling much better & always hungry. think I have caught your complaint

With love from

yours sincerely

????"

the sender

The sender has not been identified. The signature cannot be read. It is the same person who sent Daisy cards on July 21st and 24th 1908 from Stratford-on-Avon and Leamington Spa respectively. The suspicion is that it is a member of the family but even the clue in the message about a little girl does not help.

what the card says to us

The picture shows the fountain in Jephson's Gardens in Leamington Spa which is where the card was posted from. Both are still there (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jephson_Gardens) and (http://www.leamingtoninbloom.co.uk/?p=486)

Because the sender is unidentified the message is difficult to put into context. All we can tell is that they like to write their messages upside down. Apart from that the only thing of note is that the card is dated April 24th but the postmark says April 23rd. Someone, either the sender or the post office, didn't know what day it was.

"With love from yours sincerely" is an odd way to sign off.

Finally, the message implies that Daisy is a big eater but that may be a great disservice.
