Mary Ann Atkin nee Askew (1838-1931) was the daughter of James Watson Askew (1802-1877) and Mary Ann Sharman (1808-?). James was an ironmonger.
Mary Ann, the daughter married William Atkin (1836-1915) in 1856. William was a Blacksmith. They had two children, Thomas William (1859-1950) and Kate (1861-?).

Florrie Atkin (1889-1979) was the daughter of Thomas William Atkin (1859-1950) and Betsy Cross (1863-1949). Thomas was a dock labourer at a timber yard. Florrie never married. She was the granddaughter of the sender Mary Ann Atkin nee Askew.
