the recipient
Hilda Mary Gentle (1884-1979) was the daughter of Benjamin Robert Gentle (1855-1905) and Kate Elizabeth Weatherall (1854-1936). Benjamin was a Barrister’s Clerk.
Hilda was an actress and stage performer with an extensive entry in IMDB (https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0058017/) . Hilda used the stage name Hilda Barry and was still working in at least 1976.
In 1903 Hilda married Eugene Klug (1876-1932). The records for Eugene are limited. In one census entry he is described as a British citizen born in Belgium. He is not present in the 1901 or 1911 census.

what the card says to us
The picture shows the Union Terrace Gardens in Aberdeen. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Union_Terrace_Gardens). It features His Majesty’s Theatre (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/His_Majesty%27s_Theatre,_Aberdeen). The card was posted in Aberdeen.
It seems fair to assume that Jack, the sender, is appearing at His Majesty’s Theatre in December 1929.
It is interesting that Jack writes to Hilda using her stage name.
