The Message

"My own darling boy. Thank you darling for lovely card today it was a nice surprise. I did not expect one I had just finished the other card when yours came. Yes darling I will come to tea with you. I am pleased to hear things are straight again. Goodbye love till tomorrow, only a few more hours. From your little ??? 494 x x x." And the second card has a quote from the Old Testament, Isiah 58:11 "Thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water". The context for this quote is unclear.

There is no shortage of obscure messages within these cards. There are no clues as to what "your little ??? 494" means.
