This card is a report on a motoring day trip from Southampton to Bath and Salisbury in 1907 from Maud Crambrook nee Farrant to her sister Lucy Ann Smaridge nee Farrant via husband John Smaridge. No mention of their father Champness Farrant.
This is a card sent in 1917 by an unknown young lady to a young man in the Rifle Brigade who was killed in Flanders a few weeks later. Very sad. Lest we forget.
It has not been possible to trace the people featured in this 1911 card. The biggest question is whether Bro Fred refers to the recipient's brother or a member of a religious order.
